Application for Free Broadband Service

I will subscribe to tgconnect broadband service. I acknowledge and confirm that

  • I have read all the related Terms and Conditions of this application form, and I hereby agree to be bound by them once this application form has been accepted by tgconnect;
  • I have stained the age of 18 years old;
  • All the information provided by me is true and correct.
Must be identical to the English full name shown on your HKID card / passport.

Service Commencement Date can be commenced on the earliest 5th day and the latest 60th day of registration date. If customer does not fill in the Service Effective Date, it will be defaulted as the 5th day of registration date. If Service Effective Date affect by other factors, further notice will be given.

  • The free 1000M broadband service shall expire after twenty-four (24) consecutive months from the Possession Date. There will be no extra charge if the owner authorizes any other resident of the flat to use such free broadband service by filling in and signing back the attached Authorization Letter for initiating tgconnect broadband service. However, if the flat is transferred to any third party within the free period, the new owner of the flat shall only be able to enjoy the remaining term of this free broadband service.
  • Upon the expiry of free broadband service, you are required to pay the service charges for continuing the broadband service and email accounts. tgconnect will automatically renew service plan and charge the standard monthly fee from the designated credit card account without any further notice.
  • If you move out from the Estate before the expiry date of the free broadband account, you will not be entitled to the free broadband account and the correspondent email account(s). And, you should give at least 30 days’ prior written notice to us for the termination of broadband account.
  • Customer is required to provide the Ethernet LAN Card or Wireless LAN Card.
  • The upstream or downstream transmission speed of tgconnect Broadband Service may be varied subject to external factors.
  • 1000M Broadband service standard monthly fee is $680, and we will notify customers one month before service expiry of the service plans.
  • tgconnect will issue a confirmation letter to customers via the provided correspondence email address within three business days from the service start date. If customer is unable to provide a relevant email address, tgconnect will issue the confirmation letter by posted mail.
  • If customer applies service through company name, customer shall also submit the copy of company BR for reference.

  • If your flat has pre-installed the Home Wireless Broadband Network, you may choose to activate the network when applying the Broadband Service.
  • tgconnect reserves the right to amend the terms of any offers without any prior notice and tgconnect’s final decision shall prevail in case of any disputes.

  • I understand and agree that my personal data, whether contained in this form or otherwise obtained, collected or compiled by you, Towngas Telecommunications Fixed Network Limited, may be kept and used by you (including disclosing or transferring by you to your agents, contractors, service providers or other persons including subsidiaries or associated companies in the Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited group (the "Group")) for the purposes of providing your services and products to me from time to time. Without such data, you may not be able to provide services or products to me.  I further agree that you may use my personal data for marketing services and products offered by you or any other member of the Group from time to time. Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, I have the right not to receive the direct marketing materials, to request access to or correction of my personal data. If I wish to exercise these rights, requests should be made in writing to the Data Protection Officer, The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, PO Box 60088, Tsat Tsz Mui Post Office.
  • Should there be any discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions, the English version shall apply and prevail.
